ঘর ভাঙতে গিয়ে সাপের কামড়ে যুবকের মৃত্যু “The young man died after being bitten by a snake while breaking the house”

নাটোরের বড়াইগ্রামে পুরাতন ঘর ভাঙতে গিয়ে সাপের কামড়ে আব্দুল করিম (৪৫) নামে এক দিনমজুরের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বুধবার সন্ধ্যায় রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নেয়ার পথে তিনি মারা যান।

নিহত আব্দুল করিম উপজেলার বড়াইগ্রাম সদর ইউনিয়নের পার বাগডোব গ্রামের মৃত খোরশেদ আলমের ছেলে।

স্থানীয় ইউপি সদস্য ওয়ারছেল আলী আকন্দ জানান, বুধবার দুপুরে আব্দুল করিম বাগডোব গ্রামে শাহজাহান আলীর পুরাতন বাড়ির একটি ঘর ভাঙার কাজ করছিলেন। এ সময় একটি বিষাক্ত সাপ তাকে দংশন করে। পরে তাকে উদ্ধার করে প্রথমে বড়াইগ্রাম হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। পরে অবস্থার অবনতি হলে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নেয়ার পথে তিনি মারা যান।

A day laborer named Abdul Karim (45) died after being bitten by a snake while trying to demolish an old house at Baraigram in Natore. He died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Karim, son of Khorshed Alam of Bagdob village under Baraigram Sadar union of the upazila.

Local UP member Warshel Ali Akand said Abdul Karim was demolishing a house of Shahjahan Ali's old house in Bagdob village on Wednesday afternoon. At this time a poisonous snake bit him. He was later rescued and admitted to Baraigram Hospital. Later, his condition deteriorated and he died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
